Edge 8e HD Encoder

For customers who want the benefits of network video, but don’t want to discard their existing analog equipment (e.g., analog cameras and coax cables), the Edge 8e HD seamlessly converts video from up to eight HD or SD analog cameras into digital video that runs on an IP network. Simply plug your analog cameras into the encoder to convert them to an IP signal, and recognize all the benefits and advanced functionality offered by an IP network.

The Edge 8e HD Encoder is ideal for customers using March Networks 8000 Series Hybrid NVRs who want to improve the quality of their analog video without replacing their coaxial cable. The Edge 8e is also fully integrated with March Networks Command Recording Server (CRS). For customers using multiple encoders, a rack mount accessory with built-in power and room for up to eight encoders in a 5U 19” rackmount configuration is also available.
